How to Add a Tracking Pixel

Tracking pixels let you connect your Zemers store to advertising platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, enabling conversion tracking and retargeting.


Step 1: Get your pixel ID


In Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager, find your pixel and copy the Pixel ID (a numeric code, not the full script).


Step 2: Go to Analytics


From your Zemers dashboard, go to the Analytics section and open the Tracking or Pixels area.


Step 3: Enter your pixel ID


Paste your pixel ID in the corresponding field (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, X/Twitter Pixel, Google Analytics 4, or Google Tag Manager). Save the settings.


Step 4: Verify the connection


Use the verification tools provided by the ad platform (Meta's Test Events, TikTok's Pixel Helper, Google Tag Assistant) to confirm that events are being received correctly.


Events tracked automatically


Zemers fires standard events including PageView, ViewContent, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase, once the visitor has accepted marketing cookies on your storefront.




Notes


  • Pixels only fire on your public storefront, not inside the client dashboard.

  • Pixels load only after visitor cookie consent. Ensure your privacy policy mentions tracking pixels to comply with GDPR.

  • Analytics internal to Zemers (revenue, orders, visitors) are tracked separately from external pixels.
