How to Connect Stripe to Your Zemers Account

How to Connect Stripe to Your Zemers Account

To accept payments and receive payouts through Zemers, you need to connect a Stripe account.

Zemers uses Stripe Connect to process payments securely. Once Stripe is connected, your customers can pay through your Zemers checkout, and your payouts are sent to the bank account linked inside Stripe.

You can either connect an existing Stripe account or create a new one during setup.

Before you start

You need:

  • A Zemers account

  • Access to your Stripe account (if you already have one - if not, you can create a new one right away)

  • Your business or personal details

  • A phone number for verification

  • A bank account where you want to receive payouts

  • A website or product description for your business

Stripe may ask for different details depending on your country, business type, and regulatory requirements.

Step 1: Open your Payouts settings

From your Zemers dashboard, go to: https://www.zemers.com/creator/payouts

Settings → Payouts

You will see two options:

  • I already have Stripe

  • Create a new Stripe account

Choose the option that fits your situation.

Step 2: Choose how you want to connect Stripe

Option 1: I already have Stripe

Choose this option if you already have a Stripe account and want to connect it to Zemers.

Click:

Connect account

You will be redirected to Stripe.

Stripe will ask you to select the account you want to connect to Zemers.

Choose the correct Stripe account, then continue.

After approval, Stripe will redirect you back to Zemers.

Option 2: Create a new Stripe account

Choose this option if you are new to Stripe or want to create a fresh connected account for your Zemers business.

Click:

Start onboarding

You will be redirected to Stripe’s onboarding flow.

Stripe will guide you through the required steps to create and verify your account.

Step 3: Verify your phone number

Stripe may ask you to enter your phone number.

After submitting your number, Stripe will send you a verification code by SMS.

Enter the code to continue.

This step helps Stripe secure your account and verify that you have access to the phone number provided.

Step 4: Select your business type

Stripe will ask what type of business you are running.

Common options include:

  • Individual

  • Company

  • Nonprofit organization

Choose the option that matches how you operate your business.

If you sell as a solo creator, consultant, educator, coach, or independent expert, you may usually choose Individual or the equivalent option available in your country.

If you operate through a registered company, choose Company.

Step 5: Add your personal or business details

Stripe will ask for information needed to verify your identity and business.

This may include:

  • Legal name

  • Email address

  • Date of birth

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Tax identification details, depending on your country

  • Business type

  • Industry

  • Website or product description

Use the same legal information you use for your business, bank, and tax records.

Step 6: Add your business website or product description

Stripe may ask for your website.

You can use your Zemers store URL, your own website, or another page where your products or services are clearly described.

If you do not have a website yet, Stripe may allow you to add a product description instead.

Keep this clear and simple. For example:

“I sell digital products, online courses, memberships, and private content through Zemers.”

Step 7: Add your payout details

Stripe will ask for the bank account where you want to receive payouts.

Add the correct bank details and continue.

Your payouts will follow Stripe’s payout schedule for your country and account type.

Zemers does not manually send payouts to your bank. Stripe handles the payout flow after payments are processed.

Step 8: Review and submit

Before finishing, Stripe will show you a summary of the information you provided.

Review each section carefully.

If something is wrong, click Edit and update it.

When everything looks correct, submit the form.

After Stripe approves the connection, you will be redirected back to Zemers.

Step 9: Confirm Stripe is connected in Zemers

After returning to Zemers, go back to:

Settings → Payouts

You should see your Stripe connection status.

When everything is ready, Zemers will show that Stripe is connected and that payments and payouts are enabled.

You may see indicators such as:

  • Stripe connected

  • Charges on

  • Payouts on

  • Connected account

This means your Zemers checkout can process payments and your revenue can be paid out through Stripe.

Important note about API keys

You do not need to paste Stripe API keys into Zemers.

Zemers uses Stripe Connect, so the connection is handled through Stripe’s secure authorization flow.

What happens after Stripe is connected

Once Stripe is connected, you can:

  • Accept payments through Zemers checkout

  • Sell one-time products, free or paid

  • Sell subscriptions or memberships

  • Offer free trials, when available

  • Receive payouts to your linked bank account

  • Manage payment status through your Zemers dashboard

What if something not working properly?

a. You connected the wrong Stripe account

Go to Settings → Payouts and disconnect the current account if the option is available. Then connect the correct Stripe account again.

b. Stripe asks for more information

Stripe may request additional verification details before enabling charges or payouts. Complete the missing information inside Stripe.

c. Payouts are not enabled yet

Your account may still need verification. Check the Stripe onboarding flow and complete any pending requirements.

d. You do not have a website

Use your Zemers store URL if it is already available. If Stripe allows it, you can also provide a clear product or business description instead.

e. You cannot accept payments yet

Check that:

  • Stripe is connected

  • Charges are enabled

  • Your Zemers plan supports payments

  • Your product has a valid price

  • Your checkout is properly configured
