How to Create a Promo Code

Promo codes let you offer discounts to specific customers or during promotional campaigns. Customers enter the code manually at checkout.


Step 1: Go to Promotions


From your dashboard, click Promotions and then open the Promo Codes tab.


Step 2: Create a new promo code


Click New Promo Code and fill in the details:


  • Code: the text the customer enters at checkout (for example, LAUNCH20). Codes are automatically uppercased and must be unique within your store.

  • Discount type: choose between a Percentage off (for example, 20%) or a Fixed Amount off (for example, €10).

  • Discount value: enter the amount or percentage.


Step 3: Set discount duration


Choose how long the discount applies:


  • Forever: discount applies to every renewal of a subscription.

  • One-time: discount applies only to the first payment.

  • Multiple months / days: discount applies for a defined number of billing periods.


Step 4: Set usage limits and eligibility (optional)


  • Usage limit: maximum total uses across all customers.

  • One use per customer: prevent the same customer from using the code more than once.

  • Expiry date: set a date after which the code is no longer valid.

  • Eligible customers: everyone, new customers only, or churned customers only.

  • Minimum order value: require a minimum purchase amount.


Step 5: Apply to specific products (optional)


By default, a promo code applies to all your products. Restrict it to specific products if needed.


Step 6: Activate and share


Save the promo code. Share the code with your audience via email, social media, or a popup.
