How to Track Conversions
Conversion tracking lets you measure how many visitors complete a desired action, such as purchasing a product.
Events tracked automatically
When you add pixel IDs to Zemers, the following events fire on your public storefront (after visitor cookie consent):
PageView: visitor loads any page.
ViewContent: visitor views a product page.
InitiateCheckout: visitor starts the checkout process.
Purchase: visitor completes a purchase (includes order value).
Tracking with Meta Pixel
Add your Meta Pixel ID in Analytics → Tracking. Zemers fires a Purchase event with the order value at checkout completion. In Meta Ads Manager, this event appears in Events Manager and can be used as a conversion objective for ad campaigns.
Tracking with TikTok Pixel
The same applies to TikTok. Once your TikTok Pixel ID is added, the Purchase event fires at checkout completion and appears in your TikTok Ads Manager.
Tracking with Google Ads
To track conversions in Google Ads:
In Google Ads, create a conversion action for Purchase and get the conversion label and ID.
Add the Google Ads conversion tag inside Google Tag Manager (GTM container already installed in Zemers).
Set the trigger to fire on the Zemers confirmation page URL.
Publish the GTM container.
Verifying conversions
Use the test tools provided by each platform (Meta Test Events, TikTok Pixel Helper, Google Tag Assistant) to confirm events are firing correctly before running paid campaigns.
